River Runs Black is a solo metal/industrial project by Jim Wilcox, released as a self-titled album in 2022. Built over three years, the record was created entirely by Wilcox—from writing and performance to recording, mixing, and mastering. Every instrument, including drums, bass, guitar, keys, vocals, and sampling, was handled independently, resulting in a fully self-produced work driven by raw intent and complete creative control.
